Carolyn Moran
Carolyn began her dance career at the age of seven. She was awarded a ballet scholarship to Sydney four years later.
Her secondary school years were spent at the premier performing arts school in Western Australia where dance and drama were additional components to the everyday school curriculum.
She is qualified in various forms of dance with a teaching diploma and ‘Performers' Shield’ in theatrical dance (a combination of tap jazz and classical ballet). Carolyn also has a teaching diploma in National Dance ( Irish and Highland Dancing). Until the age of 17, she danced competitively with much success in Western Australian state and regional competitions.
Carolyn was the Principal of the Mabuhay Tap Troupe for eight years. She won acclaim for her excellent teaching methods and the magnificent concerts she presented each year to showcase the talents of her young dancers.
Carolyn has a Masters in Education. She is able to utilize her outstanding teaching skills in combination with her dance qualifications to establish a vibrant learning environment for dance.
